Life has been hard early on in the 2014-15 NBA season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team has endured the loss of star scorer Kevin Durant (foot) and only had fellow star Russell Westbrook for two games before he went down with an injury of his own.
Marred by loads of injuries, things are finally starting to come together for OKC, as their role players are all coming back healthy. Now they can group together to try to stay afloat in the brutal Western Conference until Durant and Westbrook can make their returns.
Naturally, with both of their best players still a couple weeks or even a month away, fans are wondering just what “staying afloat” will mean. Prices for OKC Thunder tickets are down this month significantly, as expected. So fans are certainly not willing to dish out big bucks to see the makeshift squad. That being said, it’s still pricier to go to see a Thunder game today than it is to see many of the other teams in the league.

OKC could have a fight on their hands when a seemingly much improved Kings squad comes to town late in November. Sacramento has been fairly efficient offensively, while their defense has looked good in spurts. Most importantly, they’ve been a challenge on the road. Russell Westbrook could provide serious value to Thunder tickets for this matchup, though, as Oklahoma City’s fallen star (hand) could be due back by the time this game rolls around. The Thunder could be in trouble if Westbrook is still out, but if he can make it back for this one he should put on a show in a nice home win to close out November.
