Sacramento Kings and Team USA forward Rudy Gay notched his best game since being traded by the Raptors last season. Dropping 40 points on the visiting Tail Blazers in a 103-94 victory at Sleep Train Arena. Per the SacBee:
“I was waiting for a game like this (from Gay),” said Kings coach Michael Malone. “After the game, I told the players I want to introduce them to their new teammate, Rudy Gay. Rudy was fantastic (Friday).”
Gay also grabbed 8 rebounds to help his team secure their first win of the season.
