It’s not because the Nets new public address announcer David Diamante owns a hip Cigar lounge, has epic dreads, lives in Brooklyn and calls pro boxing matches internationally on the side that makes him seem cool. Actually, it’s exactly what makes him seem mad cool.
Tabbed as the voice of the future Brooklyn Nets. Diamante from Bushwick beat out over 400 people in an open tryout for the coveted announcing gig back in October to help usher in a new era in New York City basketball. They better let him keep the dreadlocks.
