Thanks to Mario Chalmers, even Alaska will get their very own lockout exhibition game experience according to the Sun-Sentinel. Chalmers who attended Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska and led his school to two state championships in 2002 and 2003, and a runner-up finish in 2004. Will return home and he’s bringing some friends.
Among those committed to playing are fellow Alaskan Carlos Boozer, Brandon Rush, Marcus Morris, Markeif Morris, Julian Wright, Cole Aldrich, Chris Bosh, Dexter Pittman, Daequan Cook, Michael Beasley, DeAndre Jordan, Terrence Williams, John Wall, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Nate Robinson, Spencer Hawes and Iman Shumpert.
The Dec. 1 game will be played at Sullivan Arena, which seats 7,987. Keep in mind that this is a BYONFJ, event which means “Bring Your Own North Face Jacket”.
