Well this certainly made my day. The only thing better than a documentary about recently retired Yao Ming, is a minute long Taiwanese animated version about his life story. Why? Well the Taiwanese animated version is loaded with facts few people knew like the fact Charles Barkley once said he would kiss Kenny Smith “ass” if Yao scored more than 19 points in a game when he was drafted by the Rockets in 2002.
Plus the other little known factoid only true fans knew, that Yao Ming was actually conceived from a basketball his mother carried for nine months. Althought, Yao Ming never really rode a shark in a sea of Chinese Yuan and that was totally made up — cause he actually rode a dolphin, but we can let that one slide.
