I’m a sucker for the Knicks finally clinching their first playoff berth since 2004 storyline, and the mid-season acquisition of Carmelo Anthony still in his prime paired with Amare Stoudemire only sweetens the pot.
Melo has only been in a Knickerbockers uniform for 27 games, but the amount of buzz he’s created has been New York sized ridiculous. It’s about time the most valuable team in the league playing in the biggest market became relevant again and that every song that references NYC becomes part of a Carmelo Anthony highlight package. Hate it or love it.
