After Carlos Boozer got to Chicago and before he broke his hand. He took his “Bulls-Eye” big man shooting talents to the Brother Rice Crusaders gymnasium to challenge a lucky high schooler named Vince to a game of H-O-R-S-E.
Forget about the bragging rights, this shooting contest was for $5,000 towards the Brother Rice Crusaders schools athletic program — if Vince could beat two-time all-star forward Carlos Boozer. If he lost, not only would the school miss out on the Gatorade sponsored stimulus package, but their arch South Side rivals the Bloom Township Trojans would get the money instead. All of a sudden, mid-term exams seem like a walk in the park to this kid faced with this challenge.
Luck for Brother Rice high school, this his kid was born with ice water in his veins.
