Anybody watch that fifth place game? Me neither. Judging by the highlights, Argentina versus Spain for the most part looked like two teams that would have rather been playing to at least lose the gold to the U.S.A. I’m just sayin’
Rudy Fernandez had himself a game in a losing effort though, scoring 31 points and looking every bit like a man just plain happy to get heavy minutes. Something he hasn’t been getting in Portland. Dude, was everywhere on both ends.
I have no clue why the hustle play Rudy made was only number three on this top plays list behind a meaningless three ball from Kevin Durant, but I guess them’s the breaks.
