I once got two speeding tickets in the span of a week and my insurance only recently forgave me and my lead foot for trying to break the sound barrier. Both times I got pulled over it was undramatic as can be. Do you know how fast you were going?, license and registration, yadda, yadda, yadda here’s you ridiculously high ticket and I was on my way. I was very relieved that I didn’t have to contact any Henrico County Reckless Driving lawyers to defend me in the courtroom. Sadly, not everyone is so fortunate.
Tyreke Evans on the other hand, has been pulled over twice in the last two months by one time and in each incident he’s ended up in hand cuffs with a Beretta pointed at his dome. Goodtimes, if you’re filming another Fast & Furious flick. Back in June Evans was sighted for reckless driving doing 100 mph over the limit on Interstate 80 and over the weekend, Evans was again booked for reckless driving on I-80 in his black 2010 Mercedes-Benz S550 racing a Dodge Challenger.
Evans was spotted by a police helicopter / ghetto bird going 130 mph on the highway weaving through traffic who radioed ahead to have California Highway Police apprehend the faster rookie of the year. I have no idea of the legality regarding the releasing of police tapes to the public, but the CHP does so we can all see what happens when you lose a race — I mean speed.
