Wednesday night’s game between the Celtics vs. Magic had a bit of everything. Technical fouls, ejections, physical play, tacos (enjoyed by moi) and concussions.
Over the last few games, Dwight Howard has let his elbows roam free on the court and they have been hitting their targets in the paint, making him one dangerous hombre. KG already felt the wrath of D12’s bowes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals and in Game 5 Glen Davis got dropped hard with a Howard elbow causing a concussion, to the former LSU Tiger.
After being leveled, Davis struggled to get off the court unable to keep his balance and referee Joey Crawford had to hold up a dazed “Big Baby” from falling to the floor. It’s unclear if Davis will be able to play Game 6 on Friday in Boston, but they need him as Kendrick Perkins will not be available due to picking up his seventh technical foul which warranted an ejection and an automatic one game suspension. Rasheed Wallace has a tweaked back and seldom used Marquis Daniels also suffered a concussion.
Game 6 goes down in Boston Friday night at 8:30PM EST.
