Celtics Team Physician Dr. Brian McKeon lanced and drained Paul Pierce’s left elbow at New England Baptist Hospital Tuesday afternoon after he was sent home from Detroit this morning.
Pierce will stay at the hospital at least for a day for observation, and will be re-evaluated by Dr. McKeon on Wednesday.
