If it wasn’t for bad luck, Greg Oden wouldn’t have any luck at all. For the third straight season, Oden will miss significant time with the Blazers after he fracturing his left patella versus the Rockets.
“I’m obviously disappointed having worked so hard to get to where I was. This is a setback but I’ll be back. It’s in God’s hands now,” Oden said in a statement released by the team. “I want to thank the fans, my teammates and everyone in the Blazers family for all of their good thoughts.”
The play Oden got injured on that kept him down for 7 minutes before being wheeled off on a stretcher, seemed so harmless that this injury has gotta burn Oden a tad extra. Let’s all hope he can recover for another return.
