The International roster of the Raptors grew again, with the familiar face of Rasho Nesterovic being re-added to the mix in Toronto .
According to league sources the Raptors have signed centre Rasho Nesterovic to a one-year deal for approximately $1.9-million (US). It will be the big Slovenian’s third season with the Raptors. He played in Toronto in 2006-07 and 2007-08 before being traded to Indiana last summer. Nesterovic, 33, averaged 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Pacers last season, playing in 70 games and making 19 starts while shooting 51.3 per cent from the floor.
Despite the huge undeserved contract Andrea Bargnani got, Colangelo is slowly adding some good pieces to make T-Dot a sleeper pick in the east. This team should make the playoffs, but as they say – sh!t happens.
