If you’re a North Carolina Tar Heel fan you probably wear light blue a lot and you probably remember Ademola Okulaja who played for North Carolina from 1995 to 1999. During his time in college he played alongside current NBA stars Antawn Jamison and Vince Carter and in his senior season, he was named MVP of the Tar Heels basketball team, and was named to the ACC st Team in 1998 – 1999.
Despite never making an NBA roster after a successful college career, Okulaja has been burned things up in the euroleague and has represented Germany multiple times in international player earning himself the nickname “The Warrior” for his style of play.
In 2008, Okulaja was diagnosed with cancer and K1X decided to step up to the plate to support him in his battle vs. cancer. As a result,  “The Warrior Will Be Back” tee was created and the proceeds generated by this charitable freshness were donated to KINDerLEBEN e.V., a clinic that provides help to children with cancer.
K1X was able to raise 10260 euros towards this charity and before tipoff to game 2 of Brose Bamberg’s first playoff series vs. Meg Göttingen. K1X presented the check to a very happy Ademola Okulaja.
Who says charity can’t be Freshly Dipped.
