Carmelo Anthony has fans everywhere. During the Knicks eventual loss in New Orleans, a random kid ran out from the stands onto the court to give Melo a hug. Cute? Yes. Security issue? Also yes.
“It was a little kid,” Anthony said when explaining his friendly response. “I was shocked. I didn’t really know who was it until I actually looked over and saw that it was a kid. I think it was because he was a little kid, they just let him go. Definitely a security issue, though, for sure.”
