Kristaps Porzingis tied a career high with 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to give the New York Knicks their first win in Chicago since 2010. The big Latvian was also one point away from becoming the first rookie since Patrick Ewing to post 30 and 10.
“I looked up at the scoreboard in the fourth quarter and saw how many (points) I had, but I didn’t know about the record,” Porzingis said. “I don’t want to force up a shot just to break a record.”
Knicks win in Chicago for the first time since Nov 4, 2010.
