The Miami Heat (37-26, 1st in Southeast Division) have won five straight games. Miami is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference but is jockeying with the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and the Charlotte Hornets for playoff positioning. Over the last five weeks of the season, Miami will play the majority of its games on the road, but will play several key home games against potential playoff foes. Miami’s potential playoff opponents include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Charlotte. Miami has a very talented starting lineup that includes Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside. Wade leads the team with 19.2 points per game while Whiteside leads the NBA with 3.9 blocks per game. Miami will need big efforts from its starting five in order to secure a playoff spot and make a deep playoff run.
