Kyle Lowry put the Raptors on his back with a career-high 43 points and nine assists in a comeback win. Capped off by the all-star point guards clutch step-back game-winner to sink the visiting Cavs for good. Just like his all-star backcourt teammate expected.
“It’s never a surprise for me,” DeRozan said of Lowry’s career-night and game-winning basket that propelled Toronto to a 99-97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in a taught, tense, emotional night. “It’s more entertaining to watch, because I feel like I have the luxury to say that’s my point guard, to (be) able to watch him do things like that, and make it seem so effortless and lead us to a victory.”
