Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson gave Miami the full Splash Brothers treatment. Combining for 75 points in the Golden State Warriors 51st win of the season. Curry finished with 42 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Thompson contributed 33 points.
“That’s Steph and Klay. That’s what they do,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after his backcourt starters combined for 75 points. “When they both do it on the same night, that’s when we’re really tough to beat. It shows you how good Miami was tonight, because we needed every point from both guys to win the game.”
Curry also tied an NBA record, making a 3-pointer in his 127th consecutive regular-season game.
