San Antonio forward Kawhi Leonard was named 2014-15 KIA NBA Defensive Player of the Year despite missing 64 games due to injury. Leonard led the league in steals per game averaging 2.3 steals per game helping the Spurs finish with the third best defensive rating with 99.6 points allowed per 100 possessions.Golden State forward Draymond Green and LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan finished second and third in voting.
