Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love spoke with GQ magazine about his affinity for fashion, The Rat Pack, great beards, Clyde Frazier, throwback Washington Bullets uniforms (which were awesome), short shorts being dead forever and his evolving style.
“I was very doughy,” says the Portland, Oregon, native.” I wore whatever shoes I could find in my size. High school was an awkward stage for me.”
Love on the early struggles of the Cavs.
“We were trying to build Rome in a day, and it didn’t work out the way we wanted it to,” Love acknowledges, aware of the LeBron-sized target now affixed to the team. “You have to be a little indifferent to the noise.”
He also did a photoshoot with the magazine and looks practically unrecognizable from his earlier days in the NBA.
