Van Orton Design from Turin, Italy was tabbed to create illustrations for an article by ESPN’s Ian Begley, titled “False Prophets” featuring seven key figures who played a role in the demise of the New York Knicks. Isiah Thomas (The Spendthrift), Stephon Marbury (The King of Coney Island), Larry Brown (The Pedigree), Donnie Walsh (The Veteran), Mike D’Antoni (The Innovator), Amare Stoudemire (The Consolation Prize) and Carmelo Anthony (The Scorer) all get a treatment and the art is so good you’ll forget how bad the Knicks have been over the last decade. But probably not.
