NBA x Martin Luther King Jr. Day ‘Barrier Breakers’ Commercial

In addition to celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a slew of matinee games that extend right into the evening. The NBA released a great commercial focused on the league’s barrier breakers. Such as Charlie Cooper (first black player in the NBA), Bill Russell (leagues first black head coach), Violet Palmer (first female referee) and all the athletes from around the world that play in the NBA today thanks to the principles of the Civil Rights movement.
