With each passing game, the return of Chicago Bulls floor general Derrick Rose is becoming a realized thing. Just like old times, D.Rose had a monster night scoring 29 points and dishing out 10 assists in a 119-103 Bulls win over the Boston Celtics.
“What you’re seeing is Derrick is getting stronger and stronger,” Thibodeau said. “He’s gaining confidence and getting that competitive edge. When you’re out as long as he has been out, you miss that part also. You’re going against a great player every night. You can start to see it’s coming.”
Another strong sign of Rose getting back to his former self was this steal and tough no-look flip layup with Avery Bradley in hot pursuit.
