Back in 1984 when a young phenom drafted by the Chicago Bulls named Michael Jordan got signed to Nike under the Air Jordan line. Nobody knew just how good this kid drafted 3rd overall out of UNC would be including Nike. Still, without hesitation the swoosh went crazy with marketing him and that meant Christmas commercials too. Check out the first spot to air from the Jordan Brand line featuring Jordan himself playing Santa Claus one-on-one and feel kinda old if you remember this commercial before Youtube existed.
