The Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose returned to his MVP form. Attacking the basket at every turn in a preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Ohio State University.
“Rose did a little bit of everything in the second quarter. One minute, he slashed to the basket on the way for a traditional three-point play. The next, he connected from beyond the three-point line. Rose scored 16 points in the quarter as he squared off against fellow Team USA player Kyrie Irving. He carried it over after halftime, blowing by Irving in one instance en route to another layup.”
Looking like the fastest man on the court, Rose poured in 30 points with mostly layup and by hitting 4-of-5 from downtown. The Cavs won, but this showing by Rose is a huge step towards his progression this season.
