A virtual no show in the first two games. Kawhi Leonard turned things around and exploded in Game 3 scoring a career-high 29 points as the blazing hot Spurs crushed the Heat 111-92 and grabbed a 2-1 series lead in the process.
“We’ve been on him about continuing to play,” Tim Duncan said. “Foul trouble has been a problem for him in the first couple games and it kind of took him out of his game.”
Leonard scored only 18 points in the first two games.
