Swiping back the momentum of the series. Tim Duncan scored 22 points and had 12 rebounds in 30 minutes, while Manu Ginobili came off the bench for 19 points and six assists to lead the stomping of the Thunder in a 117-89 Game 5 Spurs victory.
“We absolutely believe we can (finish the series with a win at Oklahoma City in Game 6). It’s a tough place to play, and they’re going to be fighting for their lives. But we feel we can play the right way. We take care of the ball. We do the things we’ve been talking about all series long, there’s no reason why we can’t win it.”
The Spurs will have a chance to close out the series Saturday in OKC.
