To help rebuild the international image of the Raptors. The MLSE bass held a press conference to announce the hiring of Toronto born rapper / entertainer Drake as their Global Ambassador. It’s a move they made to add more cool to the city hosting the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.
In front to a jam packed room of reporters at the Air Canada Centre. Drake addresses the media about being the global ambassador, his excitement for the 2016 All-Star Game, his busy schedule, his jump shot and role on decision making and presence in league/team meetings. I have no idea what to think about this move and I love it at the same time.
