Last night Stephen Curry was an occasion, a celebration, near Central Station. If you missed it, kick yourself. The short handed Warriors lost, but Curry had an amazing performance for the ages at The Garden, pouring in 54 points with a franchise-record 11 three-pointers.
“I felt good all night. Obviously played the whole game, so was just trying to keep my legs underneath me on the offensive end, and you know, just stick to the game on the defensive end,” Curry said. “Once I started seeing that three-ball go down in transition, all sorts of spots on the floor, I knew it was going to be a good night.”
Only Kobe Bryant with 61 points in 2009 and Michael Jordan with 55 points in 1995 scored more points as a visitor to MSG.
