Amare Stoudemire will start for the Knicks after missing Game 3 with a lacerated left hand (pictured above) following his bout with a fire extinguisher in Miami after Game 2. “Yes,” Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson said. “He needs to be out there and it’s great that he’s coming back. It’s great for the fans to see him back on the floor. And we gotta do everything we can today to try to get a win.” He added: “He wanted to play. A lot of it wasn’t his, some of it was his decision to play but the doctors had a lot to do with that as well. And they thought it was OK for him, and he wanted to play. So I’m for it. He wants to try to put back on the uniform and get out there and try to help us win Game 4. I’m taking him in uniform.”
