It wasn’t a surprise, but now it happened. Jeremy Lin was officially named Eastern Conference Player of the Week and in doing so became the first Knicks player to win the honor ahead of his teammates Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.
Linsanity led the Knicks to a 4-0 record, averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 assists and 2.0 steals. His 109 points over his first four career starts are the most by any player since 1976-77. The Knicks take on the Raptors in Toronto tomorrow.
