If you want to know just how good reigning Rookie of the Year Blake Griffin was this past season? Ask current Lockout Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year from 2008 Kevin Durant like Melissa Rohlin from the LA Times did, and he’ll tell you that Griffin was better than he was a rookie. Which means, Griffin was pretty darn good.
Maybe Durant was just being his humble self here or maybe he’s actually telling the truth. Either way, hearing a made player like KD say that is a major credit to Griffin. I can’t wait to see them play against each other in 2091 when the league is back.
