A steamy Palestra gymnasium packed to the gills was the stage for Philly vs. Melo League in the “Battle Of I-95” made possible by former Syracuse teammates, Carmelo Anthony and Hakim Warrick.
Players like Donte Green, Jason Thompson, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, and Lou Williams showed up to dazzle the capacity crowd. However it was LeBron James and Tyreke Evans accompanied by his mad handles that stole the show as you may have already heard, but haven’t seen.
Proceeds from this event went to the Carmelo Anthony Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those living in underserved communities.
