During the ’93-’94 season the Knicks dropped their famous “Go NY Go” song and it’s been apart of their franchises soundtrack ever since.
The original track has already had a few touch up through the years, and with the latest resurrection of the Knicks and all. Someone wanted to re-fix the track one more time and produced / occasional rapper Swizz Beatz got the call for the job.
This video only provides a snippet of the new effort with the Knicks City Dancers, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire all making cameo appearances, but so far it looks promising. I’m sure we’ll hear the completed version this Friday when the Celtics visit New York for Game 3, but perhaps it’ll leak before then. I’m looking at you disgruntled Knicks intern with a YouTube account.
Until then, lets reminisce on the 1994 version after the jump.
