The Knicks are relevant again since they’ve managed to make the playoffs for the first time since 200-freakin’-4.
Expectations are still not necessarily high at this point since Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups who account for 2/3 of their big three only arrived after the all-star break. Which gives this squad a slight buffer between them and their critics until next season. However it’s still New York and anything Knickerbockers related will be in the eye of the media right now.
