Blake Griffin winning the dunk contest was a foregone conclusion many moons ago. So to a degree, watching the dunk contest was like knowing the ending to a really good movie you didn’t see yet. Hands down this was the best dunk contest in the last few years and Blake Griffin was pretty darn entertaining to say the least.
We could probably argue all day that technically Blake Griffin didn’t throw down the best dunk of the night, (cough, cough, Serge Ibaka) but nobody else contending for the crown dunked over a car with a choir in the background singing “I believe I can fly” either.
That’s just pure entertaining no matter your religion or car preference folks.
