Ubiratan Maciel is often regarded as the greatest Brazilian center of all time. Maciel won a total of 8 medals in Olympic Games, World Championships, and Pan American Games. Earlier this year, Maciel was announced as a member of the 2010 induction class of the Basketball Hall of Fame and was formally inducted on August 13.
