The friendship between European stars Vlade Divac and Drazen Petrovic will be the subject of an upcoming ESPN 30 for 30 series called “Once Brothers” and it seems deep.
The focus of the documentary centers around the 1990 Yugoslavia basketball team they both played on, and the civil war that tore their country and friendship apart when they arrived to the NBA. In the trailer, Divac expresses his regret for never having a chance to make peace with Petrovic who died in an auto accident at the height of his career in 1993. I can’t wait to see this one!
