Philly rapper Cassidy is back after a three-year hiatus and he is set to release his fourth studio album as the first artist signed under the Krossover Entertainment record label owned by Carmelo Anthony. Yes, that Carmelo Anthony.
The new Cassidy album is titled C.A.S.H (Cass A Straight Hustla), and in a statement Carmelo said: “I’m glad to have an artist like Cassidy. Cassidy has been through so much and has a tremendous story to tell.”
Cassidy is already calling his album a “classic” and “the best album he’s ever put together”.
The album drops on November 2nd, which is roughly around the same time that you’ll finally get use to seeing Carmelo Anthony in a non-Nuggets jersey.
