The FIBA World Championships are on and popping cousin. So far, there’s been no surprises other than me being to busy to watch all the opening weekend games. I did however catch the Spain vs New Zealand game that trigger some awesomeness from Rudy “get me outta Portland” Fernandez.
Like a flashback to his rookie season, Fernandez dropped 12 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished 4 dimes and nabbed 2 steals. That’s what you call putting in work! To top it off, Fernandez went up high to grab this Ricky Rubio offering like old times. Tough to say if Portland and Fernandez can work things out over a few Estrella Damm’s, but for the sake of these highlight reverso jams, I sure hope they do.
