No LeBron, No Problem. After eight long years of The World’s Most Famous Arena housing the world most overpaid losing NBA franchise. The New York Knicks are back BABY and they have the season ticket sales to prove it.
According to the NY Post, the Knickerbockers sold 4,000 new season-ticket plans and by the great braids of Latrell Sprewell, the Knicks are sold out of season-tickets for the first time since the 2001-2002 season.
Now if you are inclined to see Amare Stoudemire serve defenders repeatedly for at least 41 games in the same seats. You’ll have to wait behind the other 100 people on a list to do so. Back in the day when Patrick Ewing had his own sneakers and the Knicks contended every year that waiting list ballooned to over 15,000 waiting New Yorkers in the 90’s.
Maybe new guy Amare Stoudemire was right, and the LeBron-less Knicks really are back.
