The Team USA roster for the FIBA worlds is changing every week due to this or that and David Lee continued that trend injuring his middle finger causing him to miss the Worlds.
In the first 10 minutes of playing in a scrimmage game with his new teammate Stephen Curry at Team USA mini camp. Lee injured his middle finger on his shooting hand that will be in a splint for 4-6 weeks. Stephen Curry blames one this for the unfortunate accident. The Warriors curse.
“It was the curse of the Warriors,” Curry said. “I don’t know what else it is. Every time someone joins our team, injuries seem to happen.”
It’s hard to argue with that logic. Last season the Warriors missed 501 player games because of injuries last season, the second-most in NBA history since the league began tracking the total 23 years earlier.
