Every season Rajon Rondo creeps up the best point guard in the league chart without having a steady jumper, because dude just gets it done with speed, hustle, heart and anticipation. Based on those Rondo trademarks, Red Bull has decided to base a two-on-two tournament that rewards all those good things.
The Red Bull 2-on-2 Revolution is a five-city, outdoor, two-on-two tour that will be played in different East Coast cities on five consecutive weekends. The catch, each game will feature a revolutionary scoring system that rewards players for hustle and aggressive play on top of getting points for buckets. The most Rondo team will take home a cool $2000!
Scoring works like this: 2 point for a bucket, 3 points for blocking a dunk, 3 points for a steal, 3 points for pinning a shot on the backboard, 3 points for dunking on the opponent and 3 points for making a defender fall.
The highlights from this tournament shall be epic!!!
