For the simple fact that Chris Duhon isn’t a starting point guard in the NBA, him joining Orlando to back up Jameer Nelson is a magical signing.
According to The Orlando Sentinel, Duhon inked a four-year $15 million free agent deal with Orlando. After leaving the Chicago Bulls to join the New York Knicks. Duhon was spotty at best as the starting floor general of the Knickerbockers after supplanting Stephon Marbury in the starting five.
However, let the record show that he never once ate any Vaseline.
In his last two season with the Knicks, Duhon averaged 7.4 ppg and 5.6 apg and has averaged 7.7 points and 5.6 assists in his six NBA seasons.
