The Bucks are making power moves on the low and I like the way they’re building their squad.
If it hadn’t been for Andrew Bogut suffering the second most horrific injury I’ve ever seen in my adult life towards the end of the regular season (see Shaun Livingston for #1). The Deer might have bucked the Atlanta Hawks out of the first round. The trio of Bogut, rookie Brandon Jennings and trade deadline pick up John Salmons won 18 of 23 contests together and big tings did a gwan until the absence of Bogut became too overwhelming.
So the news according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, that the Bucks bought their rental like a game you just don’t wanna give back at Blockbuster, isn’t surprising at all. Upon arriving in Milly from Chicago, all Salmons did was average 19.9 points per game and paired with Jennings to form one of the toughest backcourts in the east.
The price tag to secure the services of Mr. Salmons was a five-year deal, worth 40 million US planetary credits.
