Without grabbing a dusty book of NBA facts, I’m pretty sure that John Wall is the first player ever to have his own shoe, theme song and dance before playing a single game in the pros. Any regular rookie can have a shoe deal before the draft, but to have a theme song and dance before pocketing that sweet pro ball cheque is in a word “ballin” — John Wall ballin’ that is.
Troop 41 (no relation to Sum 41) created the “Do the John Wall” track and DC area folks need to get officially familiar with the dance of the man who is going to put some bounce back into the MCI Center again.
