MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference

If you think sports has gotten geeky over the last decade, your right it has and you can thank MIT or blame them depending on your thoughts of this movement.

Since 2001, the Sports Analytics Conference hosted by MIT Sloan has provided a forum to discuss the increasing role of analytics in the sports industry. Bringing together sports industry professionals with students interested in the changing dynamics of the sports industry.

This year Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey and author of The Book of Basketball: The NBA According to The Sports Guy Bill Simmons joined the panel to talk about the geek revolution in sports and if you like hearing about numbers and players, you’ll have a nerdgasm a few minutes into this very long video. Enjoy!
