Controversy brewed during the Orlando Magic’s 120-111 loss to the Utah Jazz on Thursday night when power forward Rashard Lewis said he declined to go back in the game during the second quarter. Coach Stan Van Gundy was upset and said he had never had a player overrule him. “(Lewis) didn’t want to go back in. I wanted to put him back in with six minutes to go in the second quarter and he didn’t want to go back in,” Van Gundy said after the Magic (17-5) had their six-game winning streak broken. “He said it was because he had two fouls, and so if you have a guy who doesn’t want to play, I’m not going to get in an argument and put him back in if he doesn’t want to play at that time.

Thanks Rashard, I should be 300 dollars richer, but thanks to your antics, I am not Christmas shopping for my girlfriend, ( not yet anyways ) Who says no to a coach, only in the NBA. Orlando was up 14 after the first quarter, and up 6 after half time. Then they could only muster up 2 points after 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter, Utah was still tryng to find their heads after the blow out in LA the night before, the knock out punch should have been in the second quarter, and Jerry Sloan telling the boys to pack it in during his half time speech, and let Smoothy win his bet, but nooooooo, Orlando shits the bed, Rashard is minus 18 for the night after scoring 10 points, who was the guy you were guarding because, Kirilenko and Korver were out, oh yeah Corey Brewer was your guy, thanks asshole, but anyways make your cheque payable to myself and this will all be forgotten
