The four-point loss the Minnesota Timberwolves suffered against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night was not the worst news of the night. Not even close.
Former UCLA star Kevin Love, who has been having a strong preseason in year two of his NBA career, suffered a broken bone in his left hand in the third quarter. Minnesota General Manager David Kahn told Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star Tribune that the early estimate is that Love will be out six to eight weeks.
